Wilkinson Baking Company, the brainchild of Walla Walla University graduate Ron Wilkinson, has scored a hit at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nev., with the best-smelling exhibit. The "Breadbot" can pump out up to 10 loaves of fresh-baked bread every hour and is designed to enhance the bakery options for customers of top level grocery stores. Wilkinson, who also serves on the WWU board of directors, is joined by other family members who manage and operate the company located in Walla Walla, Wash. along with production of the Breadbot machines.
