Boots 'n Bibles

Boots 'n Bibles

“I’ve already had three people welcome me, and this place already feels like home.”

That’s how folks feel Sabbath afternoon when they worship with Boots 'n Bibles at the Gateway Adventist Church on the edge of Grants Pass, Oregon.

“Seventh-five people came to the first Boots 'n Bibles service, and that was when the church only had about 45 people attending on Sabbath morning,” remembers current pastor, Kip Bradford. “More than 200 packed the room in November, including some new folks who were invited by their neighbors.”

Boots 'n Bibles is a comfortable worship experience infused with great Country Gospel music, Bible-centered presentations, prayers, and a couple hours of “after-service” eating homemade food and sharing with friends.

“The band includes several guitars, a banjo, a harmonica, piano, violin, and “heavenly voices,” one visitor says. “It’s the reason I come. I love the singing!”

Slip into your boots and an old cowboy hat and come prepared to learn some new songs, to laugh, smile, sing, and see God through new eyes. Don’t expect a formal perfectly-delivered event. This is reality church, where we take up an offering so you’ll come back again next month to see how we’re using your money.

One woman heard about the church while watching Better Life Television in her assisted-living center. “I liked it so much that I make sure Boots 'n Bibles plays often on the TV in our game room. I’ve adopted Pastor Kip as my pastor and Boots 'n Bibles as my special church. It keeps me smiling!”

Oh, you don’t live near Grants Pass, or your boots are all worn out? No problem. The folks would rather have you right there in the room, but you can also join the service wherever you are. Just go to Youtube.com. Type “Boots 'n Bibles,” in the search box and choose which programs you’d like to watch.

Or, here’s another address where you can watch several Boots 'n Bible services as they’re showing on the Better Life Broadcasting Network: Boots 'n Bibles

There’s room for you at every Booth 'n Bibles service. Just grab your hat and the TV clicker, or better yet, come on over. Boots 'n Bibles begins at 5:00 pm on the first Saturday of each month at the Gateway Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4335 Williams Highway, Grants Pass, Ore.
