It is the goal and the ongoing vision of the Pastoral Ministries Department to equip, encourage, and assist pastors to fulfill their God-given task of completing Christ’s commission in the Oregon Conference. We serve pastors in the following areas:

Guest Speakers

In-Conference Speakers:

Prior to speaker scheduling, churches who wish to have an in-Conference speaker take the pulpit, must verify that the potential speaker has been approved and is on the Oregon Conference Approved Speakers List (provided by-request from Pastoral Ministries).

Speakers who wish to be added to the Oregon Conference Approved Speakers List must fill out the Speaker Application Form. This process includes a background check and speaking guidelines to ensure consistency, balance, and Gospel-focus from our pulpits. Speakers must complete the application in full and submit it to the Oregon Conference Pastoral Ministries Department for processing.

Out-of-Conference Speakers:

All speakers from outside of the Oregon Conference must be cleared through the Office of the Vice President for Administration. Please call 503-850-3520 or email kara.johnsson@oregonadventist.org to initiate that process.
