On January 2, Columbia Adventist Academy faculty and students returned from Christmas break to celebrate the opening of their new gym with a ribbon cutting ceremony. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the beautiful new facility with Gene Heinrich, principal, Rod Shearer, from Shearer & Associates, and Battle Ground's mayor, Mike Dalesandro, speaking at the ceremony, while chaplain Aaron Payne blessed the new gym.
