Growing Young 2020 Cohort Registration Now Open

Growing Young 2020 Cohort Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for the 2020 Growing Young Cohort in the NPUC!

Many Adventist churches appear to be dying. As congregations are aging, many struggle to attract and engage the next generation. In 2019, the North Pacific Union Conference began a journey to change that. The Growing Young Northwest Cohort is a learning journey designed to empower cultural change in local churches, creating thriving churches for all generations, while helping churches grow young, by reaching, loving, and empowering youth and young adults more effectively.

Check out this video that reviews the 2019 cohort experience.

In 2020, the door is open for more churches to begin this journey. This year, Oregon Conference will be hosting the major events of the cohort so there's no better time to participate.

Registration is open until February 28!

Look for the story on Growing Young Northwest in the March/April Gleaner.

“The lifeblood of a vibrant church (or organization) is intergenerational community—people of all ages sharing life, worshiping God and serving in ministry together. Such a community, like a family system, seeks to fully engage all and intentionally equips and raises up new leaders from the next generations. This is the purpose of the Growing Young initiative, and when you invest in NextGen leaders in makes the church healthier today.”
– Dan Linrud, Oregon Conference President
