Northwest Communicators Excel at Annual Convention

October 17-19, Northwest communication students and professionals received national recognition at the annual Society of Adventist Communicators convention in Albuquerque, N.M. Awards were received for excellence in print, graphic design, media production, podcasting and marketing. Walla Walla University departments and students took home five awards. Nina Vallado (second from right in the photo), North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) communication intern, received the Best in Class award for her Filling the Gap podcast. Steve Vistaunet (middle), NPUC Gleaner editor and communication director, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to communication excellence and leadership through the years.
