Men of faith of all ages who enjoy singing in a male chorus are invited to join the Oregon Adventist Men’s Chorus (OAMC) for their kickoff weekend for the 2027 season on Friday evening and all day Sabbath, October 16 and 17, at Sunnyside Adventist Church.

This is a prime opportunity to be introduced to OAMC, the new music for the season, get acquainted with other singers, and join in worship, prayer and fellowship over the provided lunch and dinner. One does not have to be an Adventist to join.

Friday evening rehearsal begins at 6:00 PM, with registration opening at 5:00 PM to receive music. Sabbath morning begins at 9:00 AM with singing and worship, a break for lunch, and more singing in the afternoon followed by a light dinner.

What does joining require? OAMC asks for generally one Sabbath afternoon rehearsal a month from October to May, two Friday evenings and two all-day Sabbaths for the October kickoff and the May spring concert, rehearsing your part with recorded rehearsal tracks between monthly rehearsals, and "dues” of $55 to help cover the cost of copying music, licensing and rehearsal aids.
