On Sunday, May 4, Gladstone Park Conference Center was blessed by an inspiring display of community spirit and teamwork as more than 100 Pathfinders, staff, and parents from 10 different clubs––some from as far as four hours away––came together to prepare the site for this year's camp meeting!
Pathfinders certainly were “going on God’s errands” as they worked tirelessly to ensure the campgrounds were ready for camp meeting. They weeded flowerbeds, trimmed blackberries and trees, planted new trees, cleaned bathrooms, blew off the Holden Center parking lot, scrubbed all the outside tables and chairs, and of course cleaned the Snack Shack.
“They were outstanding!” enthused OC events coordinator Athena Gray. The Pathfinders efforts brought beauty back to the campgrounds. Showcasing their dedication and commitment to service, they not only helped in the physical preparation of the campgrounds but also helped foster a sense of unity and collaboration. The Pathfinders' contribution is a testament to the power of collective effort and the importance of community involvement in making events successful. Thank you all for everything!
