Meadow Glade church member, Rodger Moran is a trauma counselor. He works for TurboTax, answering the phone when you call for help traveling the tax road!

As a Seventh-day Adventist, Rodger believes he is called to care and treats every call as someone God has asked him to love.

“The most important thing is to listen, make a friend, and then help in any way I can,” Rodger says. “I try to be a kind grandpa to everyone who calls. You’d be amazed at the troubles people have, stuff going on in their lives that make it hard to fill out income tax forms.”

“As much as being a grandpa who listens and encourages, I’m also a tour guide. The tax road can be incredibly complex, overwhelming many of us. I get to help smooth out the road and show people how to get through to their destination.”

“Most importantly, I represent Christ to every person who calls.
