This week, annual Oregon Conference town hall meetings wrapped up in Bend after stops in Portland, Vancouver, Medford, and Pleasant Hill.
This year saw a change in format with each evening beginning with supper and the chance to read through reports on conference finances, education, membership statistics, and the annual presidential report. Another change was that conference ministry leaders were on site at each event to connect with local ministry leaders, providing the opportunity to share resources, ideas, and encouragement.
After supper round-table discussions and visioning gave members the chance to share thoughts and ideas with both their table and then with the larger group and administration.
As always, our members came ready with their thoughts and questions and provided a great opportunity for dialog and discussion, both onsite and back at conference headquarters.
