UCC Responds to World Church Affirmation Concerns

On Dec. 4, during its regularly scheduled meeting, the Upper Columbia Conference (UCC) executive committee overwhelmingly approved an official conference position in opposition to the activities of a group calling themselves the World Church Affirmation Sabbath (WCAS). The UCC statement underscores unequivocal support for the world church message and mission, but clearly states that church pulpits throughout the conference are not to be used to promote the WCAS or its agenda.
