RED—Redeeming, Equipping, and Discipling—is a significant annual event, this year bringing together more than 300 mission-driven leaders from across the conference, including pastors and board members from all Hispanic churches within the Oregon Conference.

For years, The Dalles had been the smallest congregation of the Hispanic district of Hood River. In fact, it wasn't too long ago that merging with another area church was about the only option. Then God called a volunteer lay pastor to step forward.

Recently, the Annual Board Members Meeting (RED 2024) marked a significant milestone for Hispanic churches in the Oregon Conference. With an attendance of 250 church board members, this event became a pivotal space for reflection, challenge, and strategic planning.
