The peace and quiet of Milo Adventist Academy’s summer vacation was recently interrupted by a large group of volunteers from Maranatha Volunteers International, a supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

May 17-18, our Oregon Conference Hispanic & Latino Ministries sponsored RED Jovenes at the Holden Convention Center in Gladstone; an event designed to empower youth leaders to connect better with our young people.

Young adults, church leaders, mentors, and parents gathered to learn about the unique challenges emerging adults face and to discuss how churches can meet their needs at the NAD Young Adult L.I.F.E. Tour's latest stop at the Pleasant Valley Adventist Church in Happy Valley, Oregon, April 19-20.

Praise God for His faithfulness and for honoring the prayers of the Oromo congregation to reach one more. Evangelism is not a one-time event, but it is a way of life for the Oromo congregation.
