As independent charismatic figures bring the language of spiritual warfare to center stage, and some Evangelicals seem drawn to a nationalist expression of faith, how are Adventists to respond? How do we balance being good earthly citizens and heavenly citizens? Can we be patriotic while holding to our prophetic perspective? Do current ideas about spiritual warfare in the political arena fit within a responsible biblical framework? These are some of the questions we'll look at to help us understand how we got to our current moment and how we can respond as faithful followers of Jesus.
