This workshop introduces the essential foundations of trauma awareness for lay leaders and church officers. In this first of two sessions, participants will explore what trauma is, how it impacts the brain, body, and behavior, and why understanding its prevalence and impact is necessary for ministering to God's people today. Drawing from clinical insights and biblical reflection, this session lays the groundwork for more compassionate, informed, and effective ministry.
