Used Book Sale

Tuesday, July 18-Saturday, July 21 |  Hours Listed Below

Shop the Used Book Sale at camp meeting! Visit the tent in front of the ABC to find commentaries, EGW, stories, inspiration, music, cooking, etc. at this year’s used book sale! This year will also include scratch and dent, and factory seconds of brand-new books. Hours will be Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 AM-7:00 PM and from 9:00-10:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM-6:30 PM, Saturday 9:15 PM-10:30 PM, and Sunday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Books sell for $2.00 per inch with new books arriving each day!

Education Day

Our 32 schools and 20 preschools are on the front line of mission, sharing the love of Jesus every day with our students and our communities. Stop by the Education Tent to learn about our schools or inquire about scholarships. You won’t want to miss Thursday evening in the Plaza Pavilion, either, as students lead in worship and share what God has been doing in their lives!

American Red Cross Blood Drive

Registration takes place in the Holden Convention Center lobby, Blood Mobiles can be found in front of the Snack Shack.

You can help save a life! Sign up Tuesday and Wednesday in the Plaza or Thursday at the Red Cross table in the Holden Center Lobby from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM! Due to the popularity of this event, our Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for two days—using two bloodmobiles—on Thursday, July 20, and Friday, July 21, from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Donors must be 16 years old with a signed Red Cross parental consent form. Save time by pre-scheduling an appointment online at: www.redcrossblood.org, and enter SDAconference in “Find a Blood Drive”, or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767)

Gladstone Community Service Event

Oregon Young Adults is sponsoring a Wednesday afternoon community service project for the city of Gladstone. If you'd like to volunteer, visit the InfoBooth early Wednesday for final details and to sign-up. All service opportunities are open to adults ages 18 and older and/or minors who are directly supervised by an adult during the project. Let’s help make Gladstone a better place to live, work, play, and have camp meeting! Sign up to serve like Jesus!

Fun Run/Walk 2023

Meet at the InfoCenter

All ages are welcome to participate in the annual Gladstone Family Fun! The 5k fun run/walk will be held Friday, July 21 at 7:00 AM, starting near the InfoCenter. While previously it was a camp meeting-specific event, we are intentionally inviting all in the local community to participate! Free registration online before 12:00noon on Thursday, July 20 at www.OregonAdventist.org/FunRun or at the InfoCenter in the Plaza until Thursday evening. Signed waivers are required for all participants. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent. A limited number of t-shirts will be available for a $10 purchase. Enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the grounds and get acquainted with new friends! Start Friday off with a run (or walk)!

Veterans Recognition

ATTENTION: VETERANS – We hope you will plan to attend this special event honoring our armed forces personnel and their families, led by Dr. Terry Johnsson, retired U.S. Air Force Presidential Honor Guard. Refreshments will be served and fellowship with other veterans and their families will abound. We hope you will join us.

Watermelon Feed

Come grab a slice of watermelon and hang out with your friends on Friday afternoon! Join us for a free campus-wide watermelon feed! You’ll find three locations noted on this year's camp meeting map. Check the back of this booklet. Supper will be served according to schedule in the Cafeteria and the Snack Shack will be open.

Adventist Singles Ministry Fellowship Lunch

Bring ingredients you enjoy for a haystack potluck lunch after the Sabbath morning church service. Beans, sliced olives, plates, cups, napkins, and plasticware will be provided. Come to Zull Hall for lunch with other single friends!
