Milo Adventist Academy (MAA) welcomed 40 middle schoolstudents from three area Adventist schools for its annual Sports Camp,September 20–22. The camp gave young athletes an opportunity to develop theirskills, learn from experienced coaches, and connect with other students whoshare their passion for sports. Throughout the three-day camp, studentsparticipated in drills, games, and team-building activities. Coaches emphasizednot only athletic development but also the importance of teamwork, discipline,sportsmanship, and perseverance—qualities that extend far beyond the playingfield.
Students were also encouraged to strengthen their personalspiritual walk. Through morning chapels and evening worships led by Milo’sStudent Association and Campus Ministries Team, campers were challenged topursue God through daily “practice time”—reading the Bible, spending time withGod, and putting their faith into action. The camp provided middle schoolstudents with a fun and encouraging introduction to the MAA community whilegiving them opportunities to grow both as athletes and as “spiritual athletes.”It was a meaningful time of friendship, learning, competition, and faith.
