The weekend set aside for OPC 2020 has come and gone, but not quite in the way we planned and certainly not in the way we hoped. To say we missed gathering at Twin Rocks with you this year would be an understatement. However, instead of looking back, let us look forward to 2021 and begin preparing now for the blessings God will have for us when we meet together next year.
We have some exciting news to share. News we planned to announce at Conference time, but of course, that didn’t happen. We share it with you now so you can look forward to the “something new” God has planned for OPC. “Behold, I’m going to do something new! Won’t you see it!” Isaiah 43:19
After ten years of being involved on the leadership team of the Oregon Prayer Conference both of us (Greg Middlestetter and Tawny Sportsman) have decided to pass the mantle of leadership to a new team. God has been guiding throughout the entire transition process and we are pleased to announce that Pastor Tony and Sayuri Rodriguez will be coordinating the 2021 Prayer Conference.
Many of you know Tony and Sayuri personally, some of you have heard them speak at the Prayer Conference and some of you know them on a more personal level because they pastor your church. Whatever your connection is, you can be assured the Prayer Conference is in good hands as we pass the mantle on to them! The Rodriguez's may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pastor Tony and Sayuri will be communicating you in the near future, so stay tuned!
As the world weathers the Coronavirus storm pray for those who don’t know the Lord yet and remember that sometimes it takes a storm to know we need a Savior.
Now is the time to pray!
