After Cascade Adventist Church near Bend, Oregon hosted their first-ever VBS this last summer, the idea for a winter-time VBS reunion was born.

This summer, central Oregon Adventist church members came together for their own special camp meeting, August 15-17 at the Cascade Adventist Church in southeast Bend.

In early spring 2023, I had occasion to visit Hood View bringing two trays of dessert goodies for lunch. As I met my daughter at the back door of the school she said, “Mom, don’t look behind the door.”

The North American Oromo community organized a special recognition program this summer to honor Beyene Bedhasso, a significant figure in both spiritual and community leadership of the Adventist Portland Oromo community.

On Wednesday, August 14, NPUC Executive Committee approved a recommendation from John Freedman, NPUC president, and the president’s council to adopt a prayer strategy involving all six conferences and Walla Walla University starting this October.
