The Stevenson congregation has stepped up to fill a recently discovered a need in their community. – Connecting low income community members with furniture and appliances.

In January, Pastor Andre Scalfani joined the Oregon Conference office as a trust officer in our Planned Giving and Trust Services department. Now, he's adding prayer ministries coordinator to his responsibilities.

Portland Adventist Academy’s world history class made a news program to help bring history alive and make it relevant.

At Portland Adventist Academy, art is so much more than drawing and painting. It is a creative process, a gift and, most importantly, a vehicle for the development of the physical, the mental and the spiritual. Creativity was planted in us by our Creator. 

For over three years, the Conference administrative team has focused on strategic efficiency for missional effectiveness, applying resources in the best ways to maximize impact. The creation of this VP position will be impactful and has been implemented as a budget-neutral action by reallocating a pre-existing unused department budget to focus on the important work of church revitalization.

Amidst all the challenges going on in our world, it’s uplifting to see students and families being impacted for eternity as a result of Adventist Christian Education. Three schools in particular have witnessed spiritual growth this year.

Oregon Conference is excited to announce that LuDell Parrett is taking on the role of women’s ministries director, beginning in August. She will carry this role in addition to her role as risk management director.

The submission window for the 2022 Oregon Conference Northwest Reflections Photo Contest closed this week, and we were stunned to find that so many of you had contributed so many photos––449 in total, from nearly 50 talented photographers! Now it's time to vote!

On May 22, more than 300 people, including 130 Adventurers, their parents and volunteers gathered at the Gladstone camp grounds for the annual Adventurer Family Fun Day.
