It was a busy weekend at Gladstone Park, filled with kids activities, Snack Shack tasty treats, a fundraising car wash, ABC summer sales and more!

Last month, Pastor José was commissioned as a Navy chaplain – a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy working with the Navy Reserves.

Changes are happening on the Gladstone Campus. This week, crews arrived to begin the preparations for the new Gladstone Pavilion.

Standing at the back talking and laughing with other book enthusiasts is Pastor Jim McMurray who, along with several helpful volunteers, has returned to host this year’s ABC Used Book Sale!

At the June 13 Executive Committee meeting, the Treasury team reported on the current financial status of the conference, based on April financial statements.  

As the 2023-2024 school year comes to a close, the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists proudly honors the accomplishments and dedication of this year’s graduating classes!

One of the most significant aspects of resolving the Conference's financial challenges has been working through restructuring our pastoral workforce. It’s "significant" because of the financial savings that will come to the Oregon Conference, but also because we understand the significant human impact on those affected. Now that the process is complete, we want to share background about how these decisions were made.

“I always want to make sure that what I share is affecting people’s lives on Monday morning. When I think about ending a message I think, ‘What’s the big idea? What can we do with this? How can we integrate this into the mess of our world? How does it work in daily life?’” It was from this line of thinking that Journey Adventist Church began to change the way they did things just a few short years ago.

Over the weekend of June 7-9, nearly 200 Adventurers and their families, representing 20 clubs in the Oregon Conference, arrived at Gladstone Park to set up their camping areas as they prepared for the second annual Adventurer Family Campout.
