The submission window for the 2022 Oregon Conference Northwest Reflections Photo Contest closed this week, and we were stunned to find that so many of you had contributed so many photos––449 in total, from nearly 50 talented photographers! Now it's time to vote!

On May 22, more than 300 people, including 130 Adventurers, their parents and volunteers gathered at the Gladstone camp grounds for the annual Adventurer Family Fun Day.

Portland Adventist Academy (PAA) senior, Christian Lambert, has won the first place 2022 Sonny Award for Best High School Short Film at the 20th annual Sonscreen Film Festival held April 7-9 at the Loma Linda University Church, Loma Linda, Calif.

This coming week, June 1, Dan & Jane Nicola will say goodbye to the Oregon Conference as they begin a transition to Monterey Bay Academy (MBA) in La Selva Beach, California. Dan will step into the role of principal for the school, while Jane will become the school's registrar.

In May, over a hundred volunteers came together to help meet needs and connect with the residents of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in central Oregon.

After three years of not being able to meet together for our end-of-year Pathfinder Fair, more than 350 Oregon Pathfinders were able to come together in-person at Three Sisters Adventist School in Bend, Oregon on May 15.

It’s been 13 years since the Oregon Conference headquarters building opened on the Gladstone campus and nearly that long since the art throughout the building was hung. It’s time for an update, and you are all invited to participate!

On Thursday April 28, a joint meeting of the Oregon Conference Executive and Nominating committees elected Brandon O’Neal as Oregon Conference Superintendent of Schools (Vice President for Education).

Pastor Bill Mayne of the Lincoln City and Nestucca Seventh-day Adventist churches was invited to be the speaker for this year’s Interfaith Association Easter Sunrise Service in Lincoln City.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to help plan and lead out in the Teen Rock Climbing event which was held in Bend. I had never been rock climbing before, so I didn’t know what to expect. Additionally, this was my first event to help plan and I wasn’t sure what to expect or how hard it was going to be but with the mentoring and help of so many wonderful people we did the event with very little problems.
