Thinking Out of the Box to Provide Pastoral Care to Our Communities

It’s "significant" because of the financial savings that will come to the Oregon Conference, but also because we understand the significant human impact on those affected. How can we integrate this into the mess of our world? How does it work in daily life?’” It was from this line of thinking that Journey Adventist Church began to change the way they did things just a few short years ago.

Adventurer Families Close Out the Club Year with Camporee

Over the weekend of June 7-9, nearly 200 Adventurers and their families, representing 20 clubs in the Oregon Conference, arrived at Gladstone Park to set up their camping areas as they prepared for the second annual Adventurer Family Campout.

On Sabbath, May 4, kids and their families arrived at the Holden Convention Center to host the second annual PDX Children’s Church in partnership with the Oregon Conference Children & Families Ministries department. Children's Church is a full worship service that’s led by kids and for kids. This year’s theme was Bugs! Big lessons from God’s smallest creatures!
