The East Salem Seventh-day Adventist Church has been thinking hard about how they can better connect with their surrounding community.

You and I have been given the invaluable gift of communication with God. It is important for us to learn and grow in our understanding of our communion with God, so that it may flourish as we engage in continual conversation with our loving, present heavenly Father.

On Sunday, August 28, 2022 the Oregon Conference Nominating Committee met to recommend officers to the upcoming constituency meeting on September 18, 2022.

On Sabbath, August 27th, 2022, the Pleasant Valley Church (PVC) in Happy Valley, Oregon will become the first Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Oregon Conference to have a multi-pastoral staff led by a female pastor.

On August 14, the Oregon Conference Organizing Committee met at the Holden Convention Center in Gladstone to select the Conference Nominating Committee.

Sunday morning was one of the busiest days of the year at Big Lake Youth Camp. As the staff worked to clean up from summer camp and transition Big Lake for family camps, Facilities Manager Ross von Pohle received a search and rescue call.

Dick Duerksen retired from his position on the Oregon Conference communication team at the end of July. While his career has come to an end, his impact and legacy live on.

The Impact Your Health Portland clinics have always been miracle magnets, and the July 8 & 10, 2022 clinic was no exception. Nearly 350 volunteers registered for the event and worked to provide care for 154 patients on Friday and 194 more on Sunday.
